Title: How We Rank AI Agents | Best Agents For

# How we rank AI agents

Each product on a category page gets a score out of 100. The parts stay the same. The inputs are checked against public product pages and dated. Last checked 5 October 2026. There are no star ratings, because we do not collect user reviews.

1 · 30 points

## Fit for the job

Does this product do the job in the category, or is it only adjacent to it?

2 · 20 points

## Autonomy

Copilot means a person drives every step. Semi-autonomous means the product can run a stretch of the work and stop for approval. Autonomous means it is sold to operate the motion.

3 · 15 points

## Controls

Can a team review, edit, approve, and stop the work before it reaches a customer or a creator?

4 · 15 points

## Integrations

Does it connect to the systems the team already uses?

5 · 10 points

## Access

Is there a free tier or a published price a team can read before a sales call?

6 · 10 points

## Evidence

Is the product public enough to describe without guessing: a live site, a pricing page or an honest absence of one, and a clear description of the workflow?

## How rank is decided

Sort by total, then by fit for the job, then by name. A product can lead one category and sit last on another. A row is marked partial fit when job fit is under 18. If a vendor does not publish a price, the listing says custom or unpublished. We do not print a third-party guess.

## What you will not find

This directory ranks software. It does not list creators for hire, and it does not invent review scores. Alternatives and compare pages use the same product facts as the rankings. Send a correction on the corrections page.
